Note: If you don't have a cloth tape measure use a length of string then measure string on standard metal tape. Measurements are taken in the same manner regardless of gender.
Head - Measure circumference of head where hat naturally sits.
Neck - Measure circumference of neck with finger between tape and neck.
Shoulders - Measure from clavicle to clavicle across back.
Bust/Chest - Measure circumference at the largest part of the bust/chest.
Sleeve Length - Measure from the spine, across the shoulder and down to the wrist.
Waist - Measure circumference of waist.
Hips - Measure circumference at widest part of hips (about 6" below waistline).
Outseam - Measure from waist to ankle bone (outside leg).
Inseam - Measure from crotch to ankle bone (inside leg).
Hands - Measure across (not around) widest part of palm.

Ring sizing
Wrap a piece of string around your finger.
Mark the point where the two ends meet.
Measure the string against a ruler.
